Journal Article 2021 09 19 This article explores the relationship between history and media while providing as clear a definition as possible. The author’s purpose in this analysis is to discuss the harms that come from the confusion of the functions of history and the mass media that draws on the knowledge of history. In other words, the purpose of this article is to explain the threats that the mass media pose to the historical understanding of the people of a society. The research method is descriptive-analytical and uses library data. The author has tried to explain his reflections as a history student on the dimensions of this issue. The importance of this debate stems from the situation that the mass media has created today for history knowledge through historizing. By distinguishing between the two concepts of historiography and historizing, this article explains the opportunities that the mass media has provided to foster historizing. It will be concluded that: when the mass media enters into a historical subject, historiographical conditions do notaries. With its profound interventions in the system of history, the media system will create a kind of unbalanced historiography. این نوشتار درپی آن است که ضمن به‌دست دادن تعریفی تا حد امکان شفاف از تاریخ و رسانه، نسبتِ میان این دو را واکاوی نماید. هدف نویسنده از این واکاوی، صرفاً به بحث گذاشتن مضارّی است که از خلط کارکردهای تاریخ و رسانۀ جمعی متوجه دانش تاریخ می‌شود. به‌عبارت دیگر، مسئلۀ این نوشتار تبیین تهدیداتی است که رسانه‌های جمعی برای درک تاریخی مردمان یک جامعه ایجاد می‌کنند. روش تحقیق، توصیفی - تحلیلی و با استفاده از داده‌های کتابخانه‌ای است و نویسنده کوشیده است تا تأملات خود را به‌عنوان یک دانشجوی رشته تاریخ در خصوص ابعاد این مسئله تبیین نماید. اهمیت این بحث ناشی از وضعیتی است که امروزه رسانه‌های جمعی با تاریخ‌پردازی برای حوزه دانش تاریخ ایجاد کرده‌اند. این نوشتار با تمایز نهادن میان دو مفهوم «تاریخ‌نگاری» و «تاریخ‌‌پردازی» درصدد تبیین فرصت‌هایی است که رسانۀ جمعی برای دامن زدن به تاریخ‌پردازی فراهم کرده است و به این نتیجه خواهد رسید که: هنگامی که رسانه‌های جمعی به یک موضوع تاریخی ورود می‌کنند، شرایط تاریخ‌نگارانه امکان ظهور نمی‌یابند و نظام رسانه با مداخله‌ای ژرف که در نظام علم تاریخ انجام می‌دهد، به‌نوعی تاریخ‌نگاری نامتوازن را دامن خواهد زد. https://ami.journals.hozehkh.com/article_347_821ab91f35f21f9494174f92af4c6b85.pdf
